Called in here for a couple of pints and gin and tonic for mrs on the way home as this is a cask marque accredited pub. new bar staff on duty and we're not properly trained had to ask for ice and lemon in the G+T. the place is very well set out and groups of locals in each area having fun also singing and dancing
Yum yum, right enjoyed my gammon & egg and chips from The George. 10 out 10. Eggs were cooked to perfection.

This is a great pub not your upmarket one, but great staff so friendly, can't do enough for you kids welcome and friendly pets.
The food is also great not a massive menu but enough.What I like most is that it's all fresh and no microwave food .
Proberbly more of a local but excellent all round

Friendly atmosphere. Clean and open. Staff good and serve with smile. Prices a little higher for area but worth the 60p ish extra. Will be back. Still just as good
Had a great day at the George today. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely amaze balls. We had a lamb dinner and it was just totally delicious. Every element was perfect from the lamb right down to the swede. I don't even like swede but it was lovely and sweet. Highly recommend.
Great Christmas Dinner also wonderful singer making it very Christmassy, staff very friendly and attentive will definitely make sure we wil make this a regular venue
Love this pub..... the food is absolutely stunning! The sunday roast is perfect! The staff are equally as good.... 10/10 Mark has done a fantastic job turning it around 👌
Had my Mother's wake here today,the food was excellent the waitresses gave us their all attention everything was very well organised. Thank you also to Marc the Manager.
Very good food, and a speedy delivery service mean that the George is a great place to order in from, during this incredibly difficult time. They have been one of the rotating number of local restaurants I have been ordering from throughout the last few months

Went for pool, food very nice but table not cleaned which was the only let down. Quite pricey.
