Fantastic quality food, very generous portion sizes and good value for money (not the cheapest around but you get what you pay for!) We have been coming to Franklin Smiths for a few years now and have never been disappointed, the staff are lovely people and the shop is a gem in Morley and the best around for miles. Thank you!

To be clear, I have no affiliation with this establishment, this is just my honest and unbiased opinion. Quite simply the finest cafe/takeaway I have ever used. This is a comment based on multiple experiences, and not just a single time. We get our breakfasts on a Friday every week and while the cost is greater than it may be elsewhere you quickly realise it is because the quality of the products are so much better. The sandwiches are sublime, the portions generous (the large options are large) and the wrapping secure. The cakes are also a delight and handmade (and tempt me every time I collect our order!). The premises themselves are lovely, with a design and layout that shows though and care has gone into every aspect. Finally, the service. All of the above would be for little if the service was not up to scratch, but I can advise the service is every bit as good as the food. Overall, if you are in the vicinity of Morley, I strongly recommend a trip to sample!

Just been in for the first time and wow!! Such an amazing selection of savouries and sweet items, the jam tarts are amazing, which sounds daft but a good jam tart is a good sign , we got coronation chicken, tomato and her quiche and a few sweet items all of which I would highly reccomend but I will definitely be back for more jam tarts!!

We called here for the first time today for a sit in breakfast and will certainly be calling again. Lovely atmosphere, lovely food and fab friendly service! We called for breakfast and were made to feel very welcome, we loved selection on offer, everything from sandwiches, meals, pies, desserts...even fresh veg, cheeses and preserves...the list is endless, we will defo be recommending to others and calling again in the near future!

This place in my 33 years of eating around West Yorkshire is by far the best Sarny shop about. There is no equal! Every bit of homemade food here is made with rich ingredients, and everything looks incredible. The breakfast wrap (see photos) is impeccable, and I have found no other place in leeds or Wakefield that does it better. The shop is run by a hard grafting owner who has put his everything into this business, and it shows. I travel from Wakefield to Leeds just to eat at Franklin's because I know what I'm getting consistently, and it's that good! Would highly recommend coming for a Brekkie or lunch when you want to treat you and your friends. I'd rate this place 10 stars if I could! Thank you

One of my favourite sandwich shop/bakery in Leeds. Staff always friendly, cosy independent feel when you walk through the door. The food is fantastic too, a little more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for so it's great value for money. Best bacon butty I've ever had and the coffee and cakes are absolutely banging too.

So glad I tried this place out. I opted for an olive and feta salad box and the ingredients were super fresh and I got a really good helping of the main ingredients. The menu had so much to choose from and everything on display looked so appetising. What a lovely little cafe :) will definitely be returning!
