Called in for our teas today. Absolutely beautiful fish & chips, mushy peas & curry sauce, even got a free pudding. Friendly staff & owner. Served fresh & fast can thoroughly recommend giving it a try we certainly will be going again :)
This is by far the best fish and chip shop in leeds beautiful white flaky fish cooked to perfection and non greasy it's the only place to eat from and the staff are wonderful and friendly x
Wouldn't recommend anywhere else in Morley. Fab fish. Cooked to order in beef dripping. Even do a summer Fish Salad with free pudding. What more could one ask for?
Fish and chips were delicious. My daughter was so happy with her gluten free meal. The cafe was very clean with lovely friendly staff, especially Sam, our waiter. Would definitely recommend this cafe.
From reading other reviews it appears it's under new management.
Walking in I was surprised not to see a menu on the wall or (when I requested one) not available to read. Curious.
On a positive, the fish (only haddock available) and chips I ordered was freshly cooked and of a good size.
Great fish and chip shop, all the staff are lovely. The atmosphere inside is nice if you want to sit in and the music is always good. They cater well for gluten free diets as my mum is GF. They also cater for dairy and egg allergies, as I suffer from those myself and have never encountered any problems when eating here. Would highly recommend.
Wasn't expecting to go to Apollo, but glad I did. First time eating out since lockdown, so was happy to be greater with a smile. Fish and chips was freshly made to order, tasted absolutely delicious. The treat was made even better with a free dessert to go with.. fish, chips, mushy peas. Cup of tea and ice-cream.... If you like this type of food Apollo is a great place to go
Always the best Fish and Chips (& halloumi!) in Morley AND a gluten free option which is so good in a really nice light batter. Such friendly service every time, would highly recommend. Thank you team Apollo!
Waiting time can be a while due to its cooked when ordered, but we'll worth the wait. Really lovely fish and chips. Try it out, you won't be disappointed...
We are regular customers of Apollo and are quite happy with it. In particular, they cater very well for gluten free diets. My only tiny criticism is that the portion sizes are a bit unpredictable. Otherwise, everything is very good.
My daughter and me visited for the first time today after seeing a lot about Apollo on social media, pleased to report the hype and positivity is well-earned. Incredibly clean, lovely staff and prices that would be more at home in the 80s, such a bargain!
Kids meal (with a drink and ice cream) just £1 and it's not as if this is subsidised with expensive adult meals, they are cheap too. Lots of options available for all appetites.
Well worth a visit if you have the chance.
Went today fish and chips were very nice not greasy white chewy fish portions more than enough would definitely go back again.
