My partner is from Morley originally, so we always go to Tingley Bar whenever we go to visit her family. We always get fish butty's as they're amazing! If you're passing by, don't pass up the chance to eat from here!

I had a particular request to obtain a decent number of fishcakes which were to be delivered by myself to the north of Scotland. Tingley Bar Fisheries accommodated my request perfectly and had everything prepared and packed for me when I came to pick them up. They were well received up North. Great food and great service.

New management, can't vouch for everyone's taste, but I thought it was really lovely. Fish & chips. Give it a whirl guys. They have a selection of cold sandwiches. Go take a look and glance at the different menus. Polite ladies serving.

Potentially the best batter on any fish I've ever had. Beautiful colour and crispy from tip to tail, at no point did it go soggy while I savoured every mouthful instead of furiously shovelling it in like a little piggy. The curry sauce is a delectable work of art which left me searching for more things to dip in it; fish, chips, scallop, a slice of bread, my fingers. The chips were.... fine 🤷🏻♂️. The only drawback was the scallop which had the girth of three stacked up on one another and might as well have been a whole potato, peeled and fried.

Still the best fish and chips in Morley for me. Used to work here back in the 90's, yes I'm old. But still my favourite.
Not sure of the opening times, I keep trying to find out. Maybe if someone does find out. Please update the main page.

Under new people. The fish and chips were great. Good to see a good local shop again.

It's been over 20 years since I last went to this fish shop and vowed to never go again.
However the new look under the new management made me give it a go and so glad I did. The fish was chunky and batter was beautiful. Will certainly be going back

Following the takeover, they've expanded the menu with a variety of foods such as toasties, baked potatoes and pizzas you wouldn't normally get at a chippy so I decided to try it out. The margherita was delicious and freshly prepared in the pizza oven in front of me. Staff are friendly and I'll be here again to try more from the new menu.
