when we arrived we were asked if we had a booking and were shown to our table. we were looked after by Kristin, who couldn't have done enough for us, she was polte, friendly and very helpful. we all had a main and dessert. all us us commented on how beautifully the food was presented, and how delicious it was. it was our first time eating here, but definitely won't be the last. if anyone asks us for a recommendation, it will most certainly be here. Thankyou all for a wonderful experience

Never enough staff behind the bar and the lagers have gone downhill over the last few weeks. We mainly only drink here and last Sunday my husband had a Peronni , Madri and Estrella and they were all flat after a few minutes. At todays prices we can't afford to not enjoy our drinks out . We won't go back for a while now , it's a shame but it needs sorting, either it's the glasses or not enough gas on the beer I think.

Visited for a family Sunday Lunch. Upon arrival we had a warm welcome and were shown to our seats. The ambiance of the pub is very warm and welcoming. We all had the Sunday Lunch. There was a good choice of Sunday Lunch, although the trio (beef, turkey and pork belly) got my attention! Upon arrival it was delicious. The meats were excellent quality, and cooked perfectly, as was everything else on the plate. I would recommend, and would visit again.

Had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious, i had the fried brie to start which was perfectly cooked and my friend had the prawn cocktail which she confirmed was so good and such a generous amount! For main we both had the signature burger and it was fantastic, so tasty and well cooked. Service wise, Charlie-Beth couldn't have been more helpful, the ideal balance of being helpful and friendly without constantly interrupting, she was always there when needed and made sure we had a wonderful evening. Great place to go for a week night when you just can't be bothered to cook after a long day and a special treat in the weekend. Plus the garden looked the perfect spot for a weekend drink when it's sunny, ill definitely be coming back.
