Always been one of the best spots in Morpeth! Insanely reasonably priced in the current climate with the same consistently great friendly efficient service

Found this little gem by chance on a visit to Morpeth, and we were not disappointed. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but it was well worth the wait. The staff were very friendly and the food was all home made and absolutely delicious. We had mince and dumplings served with separate veg. The portions were ample and great value for money. We live in Washington and will definitely visit again.

Excellent service and the home made Steak Pie was delicious.
The jacket potato is cooked in the microwave and in my opinion paying just short of £6.50 for one, these should be baked.
Otherwise a very pleasant lunch experience.

Stopped for coffee and cake on Easter Monday. Very nice and the waiter was lively bringing treats gor our dog
Just nake sure you have cash though as its cash only, I had to run to the cash point 😆
