The Dakota Eurocentral is a contemporary "dark grey box" building located on a non-descript business estate just off the M8. But don't be fooled by the exterior, you know something special is coming when you walk in the door, through curtains which maintain the reception (and entire hotels) very low key dark interior.
The reception itself is very modern and stylish, in fact the interior design of the whole hotel is modern, tasteful but playful too. Just beyond the reception area is the, again nicely decorated cocktail bar and restaurant. We used both each night and both are excellent, both for dinner and breakfast the restaurant is just excellent, good food, local ingredients and just enough choice (not a menu that overreaches itself). Staff are extremely friendly but professional, helpful but not pushy. Oh and shout-out to the music playlist, totally my taste.
Single rooms are small but designed in such a way not to feel so, all fixtures and fittings are high quality and the rooms wouldn't feel out of place with a view of Central Park.
Overall I can easily recommend the Dakota, if you're ever in the area then it's well worth a stay (I haven't tried but I'm sure its sister hotels in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Leeds are just as good).
I had an enjoyable stay, the staff are top rate and nothing is too much trouble for them, I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back.
I loved the decor, I felt I was somewhere far away.
The menu is decent and we shared chateaubriand which was absolutely stunning. We will be back with friends to have this again.
The only negative was that toward the end of service the staff became a little less attentive and it became difficult to catch their attention.
We loved our dinner at this restaurant. We are not easy to please normally but everything was great. Food was delicious, Service was super friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Molly who was outstanding. Thanks a lot for a great dinner away from London!
The complimentary bread and tomato sauce was amazing, and all the courses are delicious too
Just amazing very friendly staff really upmarket
This is simply the best hotel in Glasgow. I always stay here for work. Staff are superb in all areas I have contact with especially Abby (reception #5star) and Rebecca (room service #5star).
A credit to the hotel. Thank you for always being so nice.

Quite and nice atmosphere, friendly server. Not too hard to find
Fabulous welcome and very attentive staff. Especially the very polite and helpful Kieran. He had some excellent recommendations with regard to food and drink. Meal, sides and drinks all complemented each other perfectly. Overall an unforgettable dining experience with cocktails in a relaxing atmosphere. We'll be back!
