Although booking we arrived 5 minutes early waited to be seated . I thought oh no bad start with lots of children and babies. However after enquiring about it the manager who stood at the door done his best to get us seated. Within minutes �
The food was the best roast ever!! The que was massive however the waitresses helped with ideas and commented on how to manage it with all the kids. Which I found very helpful as having a nice wee conversation with us all, although it was extremely busy shown us they were all about the customer's as most places nowadays you don't even get an acknowledgement lol. Waitresses 5/5 Well done! The chefs dishing out the food were helpful under so much pressure well done.
Under so much pressure and being extremely busy (obv Sunday �) they managed very well, like second nature to them all. We will be back

Tonight 28/10/17 was my second time here, although wen we arrived it was very bust but staff coped well, got us a table in no time at all, yeah the queue for the roast was a bit long it went down in no time at all.... great choice of veg & meat is amazing... as for dessert well that was just out of this world... will definitely b back as the price is very cheap for the quality & quantity of the food...
Food was absolutely delicious. We chose the carvery option and I was so glad we did because it was the most enjoyable meal I have had from a restaurant in quite a while.
The meats were perfectly cooked and so were the varied selections of veg' and side options.
My husband had only one criticism, which was about the temperature of the food. He felt his plate was cold to begin with, which meant that his food cooled even quicker and he would have enjoyed it more if the everything was warmer.
Other than that little issue, we both thought it was a very tasty lunch and we look forward to visiting again.
This was the best Toby carvery I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many over the years. The food was hot, tasty and the meat carver was surprisingly generous! The gravy was top tier, so rich and beefy. Staff member Jamie was extremely helpful, cheery and a credit to the restaurant. Will definitely be back soon.
Our server Michelle was fantastic, so kind and attentive. It was super busy but none of the staff seemed rattled.
The food was absolutely delicious, the kids even raved about every bite (they are a tough crowd).
Lastly the value for the quality and quantity of food was amazing!
Please come to Canada and open a carvery in British Columbia, we will be waiting!
We stayed here 1 night and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were made to feel very welcome.
Shout out to Taylor behind the bar for his hospitality and to Michelle who served us with a smile.
Our room was perfect.
We hope to return before we head back to Canada.
Extremely busy night, and we queued for dinner for 40 minutes because of the unusual amount of visitors. Every staff member on the floor, carving kitchen and bar staff pulled together.
Sometimes waiting isn’t a problem when it’s clear to see how hard everyone is working.
We applaud you all especially “Will” on the floor.
Diplomatic in the face of adversity, still making a fuss of children in Halloween costumes and a smile on his face for everyone.

Carvery was lovely but felt as though staff were under pressure. The chef was out clearing tables, the barman was delivering food to table which then caused long q at bar, manageress was making things worse rather than better with her orders she was making.
Excellent breakfast (all you can eat) though I wasn’t too hungry, just wanted to review as usual.
£6 for all you can eat starting 7am.
Food was excellent and service was 1st class.
Definitely a new regular spot for me.
This place is amazing and what’s more the service was 10/10 - we were warmly greeted and attended to by a really lovely gentleman named Will (he definitely deserves a pay rise 😉). He ensured that all of our needs were met, especially my kids who are very fussy! He went above and beyond for my family and cannot fault the service at all! Thank you Will, we’ll definitely be back again soon xxx
Had the pleasure of being served by Donna who I believe was the duty manager. Her professional manner and customer service are second to none. All staff were super polite and helpful to all guests and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be staying here again.
Its an extremely busy evening but our waiter Will is absolute super star. Hes so lovley and the service was absolutely amazing. He took our order swiftly, answered all of our questions. Drinks arrived quickly too. We are all ready planning our next visit.
