Subway

My go-to on Uber Eats is Subway from Jamboree Heights, they always write a nice note on the bag and the food is always great! Only once I ordered the cheesy garlic toastie where the cheese was cold/not very melted so the taste wasn’t great but everything else I love. I always get Veggie Delight and 3 cookies (subway cookies are the best)!

The kiwi manager should be fired. Now I know there is a shortage of staff during holidays and I understand the ones working are stressed but that is no excuse for the appalling service we received at this franchise. We went here on the 30th of December and ordered 12 subs worth around a $100. Before we even joined the queue we could hear the manager on duty was unhappy and kept saying to her young Australian colleague (who BTW was excellent and had great manners and was very helpful) "I am closing as soon as we run out of bread" we heard these 3 times in the 15 mins we were there. It was only 1 PM. She was rude when we were placing the orders and towards the end we asked for 3 carry bags for 12 subs as our group was traveling in 3 cars and we wanted each car to have their packed lunch to which she replied no and gave us only two bags. We even offered to pay for the third bag but she wasn't interested. As we were walking out the door she said next time please order online (A COMMENT MADE TO A CLIENT WALKING OUT). There were only 2 other people after us and they didn't seem to mind that we were getting 12 subs but apparently the manager or supervisor had an issue with us ordering 12 subs. If you don't like working then don't get a job. I hope the owner takes notice of this and fixes it. We won't be going back to this joint ever again especially when there is another one in the mall just close by.

We purchased a platter from them about a month ago (yes they do catering and it is great!) and I asked for the subs to be ready by 8:30 AM on Sunday morning. This meant they had to come in early and prepare the food, which they did. The food was amazing and everyone loved it. It also allowed us to try a range of subs we would normally not get. Excellent.

It's a shame that these 1 star reviews stick even after new management takes over. Just to update readers with what I know - The OLD subway Mt Ommaney (the one that was getting the 1 stars) was closed down for over 6 months. It is now under new management and the new managers clearly know what they are doing because if feels like a whole new store and the staff are great.
