We stopped by for coffee and a pastry, having stopped someone in the street to ask for recommendations as we had not been to Much Wenlock before. Both coffee and pastry was delicious. So delicious that we went back for lunch. Superb food, service and atmosphere.

One of the best meals we have had on our travels. Beautiful dishes with hearty flavors, fresh vegetables and the loveliest cakes and delicious baked goods. Charming atmosphere and excellent and attentive service. Worth a special trip to this stunning village.

This is not your standard small town cafe, the owners are aiming for a high end coffee and food experience focused on very good quality local produce. In keeping with the quality of the ingredients, food is presented with care in a cafe environment that is clean with a modern decor. Service is delightfully friendly and attentive.
Booking seems to be essential. We arrived at opening time and within minutes the place was full. Fortunately we had booked as we saw several people turned away.

Booked in for a birthday breakfast. Shown to our seat immediately, but never offered a menu at first. Food was lovely when it arrived and beautifully presented.

What a find! A little gem. We were early so were lucky to get a table for breakfast. Most tables were already reserved. Would highly recommend everything. Delicious and beautifully presented.
The cakes all looked superb.
The staff were helpful and friendly.

Where to start! The food was not just delicious, but beautifully presented, with details and flavours that go above and beyond what you might expect from a local cafe. The wine choices were excellent. The desserts are divine and we ordered a birthday cake that was delicious and beautifully decorated. Throughout, the service was incredibly friendly and thoughtful. An asset to Much Wenlock, but I’d definitely travel further afield for this quality.

This was our first time at Baker and Cook, and we'd heard good reports. We dropped in for Sunday breakfast, and we weren't disappointed. House Fruit & Nut Granola and a Breakfast Pattie accompanied by café latte were delicious, and served with a smile and a friendly word.
We'll certainly be back again soon!

Had breakfast at Baker and Cook with my partner 2 days in a row during a short break. Both days we were greeted with smiles and had fantastic meals. The croque Madame, avocado toast, granola, and shakshuka were amazing, and the coffee is exceptional.
The owners are such nice people and we had a great chat with them both days. If we lived in the area we would be back as often as we could!
Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, and brunch.

Some of the most amazing cafe food I have ever had combined with some of the most attentive staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The sausage rolls were amazing, shakshuka was tremendous and the mango passion fruit chocolate cake was almost literally the icing on the cake.
Being 100 miles from home when we ate here, we looked at houses for sale in the area after our dining experience.
