One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The fish was so flavourful and just fell apart! The batter and chips were delicious too. The staff were friendly and would highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Visiting Cornwall from Derbyshire for a week and after looking high and low we came across the Galleon in Mullion. We are deprived of decent fish and chips in the Midlands so it was amazing to come across this place. Easily the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. We ordered large fish and chips x2 with curry. The fish was absolutely huge and meaty, not drowned in batter like most places. The chips were golden and cooked to perfection. Curry sauce was great too.
I wanted to go in after finishing my meal outside to tell them how nice the food was but they were very busy!
A bit pricey but that’s the way of the world these days.
Will definitely visit again if I’m ever down this way. 5 star.
Waited just 10 minutes for freshly cooked cod and chips. No soggy batter! It was beautifully crisp. Chips were lovely too. Plus great service and smiles from the lovely ladies serving.
Nice fish and chips shop in Mullion village. Everything is cooked fresh so be prepared to wait. Fish was a bit small but tasty as were the chips. Not too pricey compared to other places
Quite possibly the best chips I've ever had from a chippy, crisp on the outside and liquid on the inside, beautifully done. The cod was cooked perfectly and of excellent quality. The batter is more of a seasoned coating but is absolutely delicious and restaurant quality. It is not cheap, however it is absolutely worth what you pay! The staff too were friendly, the premises clean, and the only reason it's a 3 star on atmosphere was because mine was a takeaway order. Thoroughly recommend this place!
Staying at parkdean Sea Acres Parkdean this is one of the closest chipshops satnav says 12 min drive and was still hot when we got back to the site we had some nice fish and chips curry sauce and some thing are not on menu like spam fritter which was about half thickness of a chippy I goto in Newquay which charges 25p more but other than that is well worth a visit if chippy is what you want
By far the best fish and chips I have had for years. Freshly cooked, and non greasy food. The fish batter was thin and crispy. Visiting Mullion on holiday.
We are on holiday nearby and thought we would try this chippy for dinner tonight, we wasn't disappointed in the slightest! Lovely fish and decent sized portions of chips and very reasonably priced too! We will be back again before we go home!
