The Golden Curry

Over the years - and especially after COVID - I’d got used to the averageness of my local curry houses, so was astounded when I had my meal here, quite by chance, tonight, as we were only visiting Swansea and I was genuinely blown away by the quality of food and service too. My experience reminded me of some great currys we used to buy in London many years ago, then during my 13 years in Oxford I never came across anything as good as what I had tonight. Thank you! We’re only 45 minutes away and now I won’t even bother trying anything else, will go straight to you, when in the vicinity..

Out of the Indian restaurants featured in these reviews we chose the golden curry. We weren't disappointed with the food, delicious. I choose a new dish Chicken shakuti which was tasty indeed!! The wine choice wasn't so good a very weak pino grigio and probably the drinks side is the weaker part of this restaurant. A note to the owner..you have a lovely restaurant but your decor outside in particular needs to be modernised / new look as I wouldn't choose your place over others if I didn't read online reviews. Just had a takeaway from Golden Curry Mumbles and I'm thoroughly impressed! Excellent service, with a friendly and efficient team. The meal was exceptional - rich flavours, quality ingredients, and attention to detail. I highly recommend Golden Curry Mumbles to anyone seeking a top-notch curry experience.
