We had an excellent evening meal at the View Restaurant.
The restaurant has been refurbished throughout and the food is excellent.
There were four of us and we each enjoyed our meals. We had Pie of the week (Chicken and Vegetable), Thai Red Curry, Rib-Eye Steak and the Asian Duck Taco (slightly surprised it was cold – but I suppose that would be normal in Chinese Restaurant?)
We will have to return again. I look forward to lighter evenings when we will be able to see the fabulous sea views.
Visited this morning and enjoyed the Garlic Mushrooms on toast. It was very tasty and both of us enjoyed it along with our coffees. It proved a lovely entree to the establishment, I'm sure we'll return for the main course at some point. Served by a friendly and helpful lady with a South African accent.
We came to Mundesley for the weekend and opted for The View for dinner on Saturday, we booked on Friday when we arrived which I would advise as when we arrived on Saturday evening they were fully booked. The food was lovely, we both had the duck taco to start which was fabulous and very light. I was torn between pie or chicken burger, unfortunately no pie was available so I opted for the chicken burger. Alas the deep fried chicken burger was also unavailable but I was offered the option of a grilled chicken burger, which I was very happy to have. The main meal was delicious with an ample portion and very tasty and to finish we had Eton Mess. The restaurant is also dog friendly though we opted to not take ours as they tend to bark. Also it was lovely that though some items on the menu were not available options were offered and were not disappointing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and I would recommend The View to anyone.
Super meal, the food was different, but you could still have a burger. The service was friendly and the ambiance made for a most enjoyable evening meal. Children were catered for and made to feel special with a drawing wall display of their picture. Best food all week. Go!!
Enjoyed a very excellent Sunday lunch today , all cooked to perfection. Caring, courteous and friendly staff couldn’t do enough for you. Yorkshire Pudding was out of this world which is quite a compliment coming from a proud ‘Yorkie’
We visited twice once on Friday evening and we had Sunday lunch. Both times we had excellent service and meals. All food is cooked fresh and drinks are reasonable. We didn't book but got in but it wise to book especially Sunday
Had a lovely dinner here on Thursday evening. I chose the seabass which came with dolphinoise potatoes and vegetables. All freshly prepared and beautifully cooked. The chocolate brownie with raspberry coulis and ice cream was yummy. A glass of very nice Pinot Grigio as well. The staff were very pleasant. Would love to come again. Please open a restaurant in Norwich!!
Firstly we arrived at 18.00 with the sun starting to set and we had the most amazing view this set the tone for the night . The music enhanced it . Our meals were gorgeous all 3 courses. Service was faultless, our first time at the view , it won’t be our last ! Absolutely loved it .
Stopped here in July 2022.

Service was fast.
Staff were very polite and helpful.
We sat outside round the back and the view was lovely.
I can recommend this place and would visit again.
The View gets 5 stars every time. Today has been our third meal there . The Sunday lunch was cooked to perfection. Beautiful relaxing setting. Attentive and friendly staff .Highly recommended. Look forward to going again .
