We were on our way to another place further away and were intrigued as we drove past so we turned around and stopped here instead. We had the Cullen skink which was phenomenal. The best we have had on this trip around Scotland. The house made sourdough bread was so delicious. And the fish and chips were the best we have had in Scotland. The additions of citrus and dill in the batter for the fish really added a nice touch. We do find that fish and chips here is under salted as in the States it is generally much saltier. But that is something we can easily remedy on our own. The onion rings were perfectly cooked. A must try if you are in the Inverness area. Not too far away. Just a short little drive.

The food here was fantastic, and top of the line service. The calamari, seafood chowder and scallops were all amazing! And the manager helped get us a cab, which wasn’t easy because we had gotten to the island so late. Will definitely be coming back for another meal.

Beautiful Sunday Carvery with my better half. Well thought out decor, with an amazing attention to detail. Staff exceptionally welcoming, helpful and attentive. Very relaxing and cozy ambiance. Fantastic selection of ales and shorts. A minor issue with one out of our 4 slices of roast beef (2 servings) that could have been caught before plating, but thoroughly enjoyed, with great presentation and quality produce. Would defo return again.

First visit to this restaurant as it had been recommended. The food was satisfactory but the downside was the dining area we were put to. There seemed to be 3 areas for eating - the bar the main dining area with ambient lighting and a dining room at the back. Most customers were in the bar area and main dining room but we were put in the corner of the back dining area and ended up being the only ones in that dining room. Although the room was nice enough there was no atmosphere. It was also a bit pricey although the prices seem to be about the same where ever you go now but £9.95 for cheesecake is a bit too much. Needless to say we didn't order any! These inflated prices def make you think twice about eating out!

Had Fish and Chips with a Black Isle Porter. Delicious. The hubby had the roasted red pepper soup, amazing! Made reservations, but our area had plenty of room for more people. There was an amazing singer dor live music. An enjoyable experience!

We dropped by for coffee/tea and some cake to share. Excellent place. Very nice decorations feels like home. Tried the sticky toffee pudding and was very delicious. Staff was very kind, honestly felt slighty bad for a little order that we made. Will definetely recommend and in case we have a chance to return will also try to book their rooms for a longer stay. I just have to mention though the table decorations were not very sharing-friendly :) sorry Allangrange team to slightly distorting your decorations...

Was there on Sunday for a bite to eat on the way home from a walk in Rosemarkie. Had langoustines and my partner had mussels and the food and service was absolutely flawless. Food piping hot, all tasted amazing and was incredible portion sizes. All staff really attentive, polite, and they accommodated us easily despite not booking in advance. Can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to go back again.

We just had Sunday lunch at this hotel. The beef roast melted in my mouth. Top marks, jug of chilled water was delivered to the table with out asking. 10 out or 10

Blink and you'll miss the carpark. Once you turn around and get parked up, head around the front into the main entrance for the warmest of welcomes. Once we chose our seats, automatically were given a pitcher of water and ice. It really is the little things in life that make a difference. Ordered two soft drinks, I know, we live a rock n roll lifestyle. My come genuine taste weird. Not sure what it was, couldn't quite put my finger on it. Spoke to the waitress and swapped it out with no issue. Our food arrived. As you can see from the pictures, really nice, simple presentation. Chips (or fries depending on where you live in the world) we're skin on. Taste was heavenly. The onion rings were huge in size and huge on flavour. The chicken and bacon foccia was delicious. If there was a criticism, the bacon should be a bit crisper. When mixed in the map, the fat becomes a little unpleasant. But to be perfectly honest, the sandwich was delicious. Last but by no means least, the crispy chicken wrap. Sounds simple, tastes out of this world. That is all thanks to the cajun mayo it comes with. Has a little kick but is so packed full of flavour, I wish it came in a little ramekin so I could do the chips in. Overall, this place deserves, and gets a solid 5 out of 5. From the girls that were serving to the food they served. Truly excellent. We will be back for definite. They also cater for children by the way.

We only use restaurants when was in the area , must admit that when looking at the restaurant building from outside you will never expect that interior. Omg I absolutely love it . All the details I just walk around the restaurant while waiting for food. Stuff was very friendly , food was very good , prices was ok for these kind of restaurant.
