We stayed last weekend. The welcome was very warm. And all the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were fully of character with beautiful furnishing and very comfortable.. our evening meals was amazing. There was a wide range of dishes and everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Our breakfast was also delicious with local ingredients and homemade bread, black pudding and marmalade. This was our second visit and will be returning. Thank you Jane, Richard and stour lovely staff.
We would heartily recommend the Crown Inn. We are locals who have visited 7 times in the last 3 months. There is always a warm, friendly reception from Jane and her team FOH and superb, imaginative food from Richard. Both the bar and restaurant area and the lovely hidden garden and terrace are comfortable and we have found the different menus to be varied, outstanding quality and great value for money. Thanks, Richard and Jane. The Crown Inn is a huge asset to the village.

This pub is friendly and welcoming with a genius in the kitchen. The food is an adventure but there is always a good old time favorite for those who want something familiar! I love it here!
The food here was sensational. What a gem of a place. Rustic setting, a la carte menu, attentive service, great welcoming atmosphere, set in the wilds of Shropshire.
So lovely to go back. Jane and staff so welcoming, treat you like friends and family. Then the food, oh my goodness superb, a real treat all round.

Cosy, warm and welcoming. Both staff and other diners were so lovely and chatty. Food was all of very good quality, although we felt a tad over priced at £19.50 for pie, chips n veg. If the veg had been I included, we'd be more likely to return. The veg for three alone cost £13.50, and the portions were slim.
