I and my wife had never been in the bistro until a few weeks back, then we had a smashing meal, yesterday we fancied something nice to eat, I suggested the Brunton bistro for breakfast, first class.

Lovely afternoon tea yesterday for our Musselburgh pensioners group. Helpful , smiling and friendly staff. All agreed, we I'll be back. Fresh food and plenty of it. Well done Brunton Bistro 😀.
5 stars for the food and service. Haddock and chips lovely, chicken burger top notch. The chicken was unadulterated, didn't come covered in a million and one spices or topped with some chilli relish rubbish, it was great, just what I wanted. Nice piece of chicken, mayonnaise, salad and gerkins. The menu said fries and we were expecting the usual skinny things you tend to get when it says that but what we received was really good chips. Nice pot of tea, very friendly and helpful service. Looking forward to returning soon.
I recently used the Bistro for catering for my father's funeral tea. I couldn't fault the food, service or communication prior to the event. I would thoroughly recommend using the Bistro.

Excellent customer service in a very pleasant restaurant. Today was the second time I’ve visited and both times the staff bent over backwards, to accommodate me, I’m lactose intolerant and the food has been delicious and served on lovely crockery.
Busy but spacious. Got a table to myself and great breakfast + coffee and tea.Kind and attentive staff.

First time here and will be back. Food good, we both had lasagne which was nice and fresh and very tasty. Salad was nice too, would love more and dressed! Was very tasty. Service was good, staff very pleasant.
