My local and it's great , just popped in with a friend for a drink ended up having a quick bite to eat , we had the deep fried Brie with salad and cranberry sauce & the calamari salad and mayo both off the starter menu, accompanied with a side order of chips and warm ciabatta it was delicious and the fab strawberry G&T to wash it down a Sunday supper fit for a king
Family meal at lunchtime on Sunday 19th November 2017. Food was gorgeous and the host was very accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend eating there

Great Sunday roast and amazing pudding!
It was our first visit to the cross keys, as we moved to the area a couple of months ago, we thought we’d try out the local for a Sunday roast, and we weren’t disappointed!
We had the roast beef which was lovely, the meat was soft and melted in your mouth! We had some herb potatoes which were delicious as well! I didn’t feel like I missed the roast potatoes either, I did miss a roast parsnip however, but the Yorkshire pudding was lovely and crispy, and the steamed veg you got with it was nice as well.
The desserts were so nice! I had a baileys cheesecake, if I wasn’t so full I could have eaten more haha! And my partner had a biscoff cookie pie, which he rates as a 10/10!
Thank you for a great meal, and we will be back to try out some of the other fantastic meals on the menu!

Paid my first visit to The The Cross Keys, and the restaurant Petros (which is at the rear of the building) on Sunday. The girlfriend has family who live in the village of Nafferton, which in itself seems lovely. Have to say both the pub and restaurant are excellent. Was a reasonable sized group of us, and everyone seemed more than happy with their food choices. Along with a lot of classics, the menu also has a bit of a Greek theme to it, which is always fine with me. As well as enjoying my own meal immensely, I was also looking enviously at everyone else's. Which means I'll no doubt be back to try some of the other options. On top of the great food and nice location, the place also has a very welcoming atmosphere and laid-back, friendly staff. Thoroughly recommended 👌
