Had a fantastic meal in a lovely atmosphere on Wednesday evening, the waiter was really helpful and attentive, the 5 of us were having a Xmas party nite out and he brought us Xmas crackers even though we hadn't booked in advance, those small touches do make a difference, the food was really good too and we all thought great value! Would definitely recommend and will visit again.
Great place for supper or just a glass of wine. A cut above with friendly, funky staff. Dog friendly & very obliging.
Had a fantastic meal tonight. Bhaji starter, followed by a great steak with peppercorn sauce, Portobello mushroom and blue cheese with triple cooked chips. And brown bread ice cream for dessert. All ice creams are made in house, and surprisingly this flavour was delicious! I would deffinately recommend coming here for a great meal and fantastic service.
Nice place, played dominoes. Lovely staff but you need a sign on the entrance as I am 6”3” and nearly knocked myself out going in as the door is very low 😶

Beautiful and rustic pub. Friendly and helpful staff. The pizza i had for lunch was one of the best and the burger looked mouth watering good.

I'm a fussy eater and the chef spoke to me earlier in the day when we were just having a drink and convinced me to come back for dinner, he then brought our food out personally and even checked after dinner that I'd enjoyed the meal. The food was great and the staff went above and beyond to ensure me and my wife had a great meal. Highly recommended
Quaint and cozy place to have a drink or meal. Lounge on a couch near the fireplace or sit down and have dinner. Either way you will fee relaxed and at home. Staff were very friendly as well.

Just had lunch at the Brit. and it was superb! Had the Sunday roast beef, which was very tender, with a good choice of vegetables that were all excellent -cooked just right and full of flavour. As good a roast lunch as I can remember having.
Had a roast dinner the Sunday just gone and have to say was the best roast dinner i have ever had, worth every penny! Hats off to the chef, was so tasty!!
Also lovely bar staff, very helpful and friendly :) will be back again very soon!
