Nice place, played dominoes. Lovely staff but you need a sign on the entrance as I am 6”3” and nearly knocked myself out going in as the door is very low 😶

Lovely pub, sat outside on a warm day and tried various starters between a group of us, all were good. Staff helpful and friendly.

I'm a fussy eater and the chef spoke to me earlier in the day when we were just having a drink and convinced me to come back for dinner, he then brought our food out personally and even checked after dinner that I'd enjoyed the meal. The food was great and the staff went above and beyond to ensure me and my wife had a great meal. Highly recommended

Had a fantastic meal tonight. Bhaji starter, followed by a great steak with peppercorn sauce, Portobello mushroom and blue cheese with triple cooked chips. And brown bread ice cream for dessert. All ice creams are made in house, and surprisingly this flavour was delicious! I would deffinately recommend coming here for a great meal and fantastic service.

Visited last Friday lunchtime, and had the braised lamb with bubble and squeak, fried egg and lamps lettuce. All I can say is that it was delightful. Would certainly recommend any will be visiting again real soon

Just had lunch at the Brit. and it was superb! Had the Sunday roast beef, which was very tender, with a good choice of vegetables that were all excellent -cooked just right and full of flavour. As good a roast lunch as I can remember having.

The food was amazing! Loved the restaurant and I would like to return! The 4/5 was because of the delay in getting drinks .. a minor issue but we did have to call them to remind them of our order!

Had a roast dinner the Sunday just gone and have to say was the best roast dinner i have ever had, worth every penny! Hats off to the chef, was so tasty!!
Also lovely bar staff, very helpful and friendly :) will be back again very soon!
