Food was very nice, pub didn’t look like a pub from the front as there was no signage?

This English Pub Is modern, inviting and filled with paintings photos memorabilia and books making it stand apart from other pubs.
The food is tasteful, and offers selected items. Not the usual run of the mill cuisine. Besides, it also serves vegan, gluten free options too. Above all, it’s dog friendly!!
And don’t forget it’s a Pub, so the drinks are all that you would wish for!
The ambience is warm and friendly. The staff are polite courteous and accommodating too. They created a combo for me (not on their menu), knowing I was a tourist! Left a good feeling in me!!

Just visited the Swan for the first time. What an outstanding experience: great setting and decor, great ambiance, superb food and very attentive service without being overbearing. Great French wine sourced and blended by the Swan itself. Tables not crammed together like many places. Roaring fire. We shared starters, mixed a main with a cheese plate, then sorbet and port. Do what you like and take your time. Customer is king - how often does that happen these days? I have hunted and eaten a lot of game birds over the years but pheasant scotch egg and pheasant tandoori were firsts for us and they were sensational. We could not have asked for more. We have eaten in one Michelin star restaurants and not had as good a time. Prices are absolutely not expensive for the quality of the food. An outstanding British country pub with great food - very hard to find these days.
Just spent a lovely lunchtime at The Swan. Fish and chips, sticky toffee pudding/apple crumble and a bottle of pinot....perfect! Lovely atmosphere, good service. We'll definitely be back 🙂

A group of 6 of us visited on Saturday while on a camping trip at nearby Ryebank Adventures. The owner Ed recommended The Swan. We were very glad he did. Excellent food, great atmosphere, really switched on friendly staff and lovely and warm! An extremely pleasant way to spend a rainy afternoon.Highly recommended.
Food is superb, staff very friendly and great selection of local cheeses. Food presentation is on point, rump of lamb was splendid!
Lovely pub, great decor, friendly efficient staff. Food is exceptional, fresh and flavoursome with good choices if you don’t eat meat. Dog friendly.
Delicious food and a delightful menu. So many pubs simply follow a formula with their menus, not The Swan. So many interesting dishes feature on their menu eg. The game suet pudding and the sticky pork cheek in the photos. They were perfectly cooked. To top it all the staff were efficient but warm and welcoming. Lovely ambience on a cold wintry day. Top marks!
Absolutely the best Sunday roast.
I always have grand ideas of trying other things on the menu but can't get past the roast. It's Absolutely amazing.
The staff are great and can't do enough for you.
We travel quite far to come as its just so good.
