Really friendly staff and fair prices for the drinks. It's a big pub with lots of seating, there is a pool table too although we didn't use it. We only stopped for a couple of drinks but will head back at some point to try the food as the menu looked good. There are some outdoor seats to the front and side of the pub. There is also a kids' climbing frame area outside and another larger playground across the road from the pub. There is a good deal of free parking at the pub too.

Nice place to relax and unwind because of the wonderful lady at bar who is great with kids and the young man who serves our monthly treat with a smile. The kids had great fun in the play area. There's a fantastic steak deal on a Thursday which is delicious and came with onion rings, chips, mushrooms and peas. My son enjoyed his cheesy pasta and my daughter liked her chicken dippers. Both enjoyed their ice-cream. We'll keep coming back for our monthly treat.

We have been here several times and enjoyed the food and drink each time, this time I had the cheese/leek and potato pie with chips and peas. The wife had the steak and ale pie with chips and peas both meals were lovely, no room this time for pudding but they are all very nice. It's just a shame that there were not many people in the pub, well worth a visit.
