I’d heard about this independent business from a friend, I wanted to come here to see and experience this lovey cafe for myself. I came on a day when the weather was not so nice but thats Wales so to be expected.
As I entered, I was warmly welcomed to staff. There was a small queue, but staff still acknowledged me and apologised for the delay. Whilst I was waiting, I had a look around and took some photos.
I chose a table, checked out the menu and then returned to the counter and placed my order. I had a cheese and ham panini, it arrived with a delicious side salad and very tasty salad dressing. My food was piping hot, well presented and looked amazing.
The coffee shop was moderately busy, yet the staff were aware of all the customers and very attentive to their needs. After my food I went for a walk around and took some more photos.
There is a fully adapted disabled toilet downstairs. In what is called the sergeants mess. This is a small area off to the side of the main shop, it is beautifully decorated.
On leaving the main cafe and heading out into the garden, I discovered sheds that have been converted to be little seating areas that are also Harry Potter themed.
There is a ramp leading down into the garden that has handrails either side of the ramp making the garden is also wheelchair accessible. A lot of attention and thought, as well as time and effort has gone into decorating this place. Harry Potter these is prevalent throughout. For any HP fan this is a must visit.
On returning inside I passed another fully adapted wheelchair accessible toilet, this making two available on the ground floor.
The upstairs was closed so I was not able to head upstairs to see its layout or the decoration. However, from the moment I walked in I received amazing customer service; the food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing, and I will definitely come here again when I come to Neath.
