Had a family celebration meal booked last night and cannot thank the girls enough!
The standard of service went beyond in our view due to their kindness and thoughtfulness when looking after our party!
The food was absolutely beautiful and piping hot!

Food was nice but could have had more steak in the pie, service was great really friendly and attentive, place is really clean and tidy nice relaxing atmosphere,other then more filling in the pie I would recommend a visit here
Nice little find this on a rainy day on my walk. Great 👍 location. Pint of Madri £6.00. Bottle of Pinot Grigio £19.49 when I popped in (September 2023).
Fab pub, food always great. They love dogs too and have a drink station and menu for your pooches.
Came here for an evening meal. We were using our Tesco vouchers to get food. Not so busy and straight to a table. Nice service from attentive staff. Starters and main meal were really nice. Loved my steak and ale pie. We did order pudding which was a Sunday however I wasn't so sure about the cream, may have been a little tangy. So didn't eat it all. Overall a good visit and using our voucher was free, just had to pay for a coke and pint of ale. Would definitely come again
Very quiet on this occasion but much improved on the previous visit. Hadn't been for almost a year due to a pretty dreadful experience where absolutely all of our meals were sub standard and I was charged for 10 meals instead of 8! Staff had managed to put a couple's bill on to mine and when I tried to query the bill I was snapped at and told "you have been given your bluelight discount!" This time, however, staff were lovely and attentive and actually acknowledged my young grand-daughters, rather than ignoring them as the last lot did.
The food was all really lovely and we will be visiting again soon!

Turned up at the last minute in a hope this restaurant had room for four, for a father's Day meal. They were extremely accommodating, as always. The atmosphere was wonderful the food was fantastic and we were even given a free bottle of ale at the end, for the father at the table! Lovely restaurant, will definitely come again!
Beautiful old style pub and restaurant. Really nice food, good selection including a large children's menu. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend for just a quick meal or would be good for a family event.
Good service. Visited recently for some colleagues' leaving parties and our groups were accommodated well both times. Good range of beers on tap.
