Love eating here. The staff are always so friendly and positive. The atmosphere is always so upbeat and warm. Always turns a bad day into a good one coming here The food is amazing. I don't normally like mushrooms, eggs or bacon but here I LOVE them I can't get enough of them. They cook their food
Lyndsay and Ben so helpful with my special request today. This as well as good food atmosphere and overall good feeling - this is why we come back regularly for the best Sunday carvery available in this area. Well done to the whole team u work so hard 👍
Sat next to a family. 3 kids causing havoc. Ripping up menus. Swinging off chairs. Fighting until they cried. Their both parents never looked up from their phones in the whole 45 mins we sat there.
Had 2 carvery’s and a fish and chips meal and a burger and chips meal a few cocktails and spirits was all absolutely beaut thank you TRACEY for serving and asking if all was okay so friendly and comforting enjoyed every bit of it
Came here for a carvery. Sat at a table overlooking the silted estuary, which was good. The carvery itself was tasty with well cooked meat and varied hot vegetables. The service, although limited, was good.
Came for breakfast, toaster was not working but staff member Ben was really helpful and made some toast using the pizza oven for my autistic friend! She then decided she wanted pudding during the service of breakfast, Ben again went above and beyond and made the dessert himself! He was very friendly
A wet quiet Autumn Monday and out and about with a mate. We decided to have lunch at Parkgate and my mate fancied a carvery so we plumped for the Old Quay. We were early and there weren't many people in the pub. We were quickly served by the barman Aaron who also took our order, explaining the diffe
We sat with our aging group of family members for a lunch.... the staff were great, very attentive... .Mandy was very very helpful. The average age was about 80.... (excluding the carers) and nothing was to much trouble for them. Mandy made it so easy for us. We are looking forward to the next trip.
Came here on the spare of the moment for my daughter's birthday. They accommodated a party of 10 as a walk in. The food was lovely and fresh, all came at the same time and without delay. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would like to say a huge thank you to Mandy in particular, who went ab
We came after school for a quick tea and stayed for ages doing home work as the children were enjoying the place so much. They also loved the kids activity booklet. Food as always really good and filling. One of the few places where the kids will clear their plates. Staff really friendly.
Amazing staff, so friendly, we were put on a table with a lovely view! Staff were knowledgeable about every item we asked about. Very laid back atmosphere. Really clean toilets and excellent for parking. Well worth the drive up from Wrexham, originally found by accident but we are frequent visit
Lovely food, well priced. Excellent service from Aaron, and a big shout out to Manager Ben who helped us out with our 50% discount. Will definitely come back again. Well done.
Aaron and Ben were excellent looking after us for a big family meal - really helpful and pleasant. Food was really good, had a number of different meals no complaints. Carvery was excellent value and very tasty. Will defo visit again
Popped in today for coffee and desert. I was on crutches following an accident. Tracey, front of house, was exemplary. She found us a table accessible by ramp, warned us of damp floors, explained everything and directed me to Disabled loo,all with a smile. We felt very welcome. Food and coffee was go
Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Family get together, so 12 of us. Couldn't be more accommodating trying to find best table to suit us all - 3 with mobility issues and sticks, one with a walker so ease of access in and out was needed 😉 Majority had the carvery and enjoyed them. Gammon was pro
Lovely Sunday lunch. Lots of choose and very well cooked and presented. All staff were friendly warm and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
It’s always lovely when we come in here! The carvery is always gorgeous, and the staff are all helpful! It’s not too pricey, and even if you thought it was expensive, you pay for what you get!
