The food is amazing. I don't normally like mushrooms, eggs or bacon but here I LOVE them I can't get enough of them. They cook their food so well.

Sat next to a family. 3 kids causing havoc. Ripping up menus. Swinging off chairs. Fighting until they cried. Their both parents never looked up from their phones in the whole 45 mins we sat there.
Had 2 carvery’s and a fish and chips meal and a burger and chips meal a few cocktails and spirits was all absolutely beaut thank you TRACEY for serving and asking if all was okay so friendly and comforting enjoyed every bit of it
Came here for a carvery. Sat at a table overlooking the silted estuary, which was good. The carvery itself was tasty with well cooked meat and varied hot vegetables. The service, although limited, was good.
Came for breakfast, toaster was not working but staff member Ben was really helpful and made some toast using the pizza oven for my autistic friend! She then decided she wanted pudding during the service of breakfast, Ben again went above and beyond and made the dessert himself!
He was very friendly and kind throughout our visit! 10/10 service, thank you Ben :)
A wet quiet Autumn Monday and out and about with a mate. We decided to have lunch at Parkgate and my mate fancied a carvery so we plumped for the Old Quay. We were early and there weren't many people in the pub. We were quickly served by the barman Aaron who also took our order, explaining the different sizes of carveries and what extras you got with each. My mate chose the Extra with Pigs in Blankets. The carvery had just opened, the meat was all fresh and moist and not dry like some carveries. A great choice of piping hot veg, lovely gravy and a crisp Yorkshire pudding all for under £25 with two large soft drinks. There was a decent selection of other food on the menu pizzas, burgers, wraps etc. Recommended!
We sat with our aging group of family members for a lunch.... the staff were great, very attentive... .Mandy was very very helpful.
The average age was about 80.... (excluding the carers) and nothing was to much trouble for them.
Mandy made it so easy for us.
We are looking forward to the next trip.

Came here on the spare of the moment for my daughter's birthday. They accommodated a party of 10 as a walk in. The food was lovely and fresh, all came at the same time and without delay. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would like to say a huge thank you to Mandy in particular, who went above and beyond to ensure a great service and really made our visit enjoyable. We will definitely be back in again soon!
