The dim sum in this restaurant is authentic Cantonese style, which brings back memories of Cantonese dim sum for customers. It is delicious, rich and moderately priced. At the same time, the service staff is warm and friendly, which makes people feel warm.
Food was sublime, staff were friendly and great. Only 2 problems were the sweet and sour sauce was basically no vinegar and was too sweet and the water had black bits but the water couldn't be helped as the kettle would've been used millions of times. Other than that great place, great food!

Yesterday we went to Maxi’s Chinese Restaurant in York. After the normal temperature was checked we were seated down at a very nice corner. All waiters seem to wear masks. Very nice.

Great Chinese food. All the dishes I have tried from here have been excellent and the prices are really reasonable too. The staff are always friendly and greet you with a smile. Even with a full restaurant, I’ve never waited more than half an hour for my food. I recommend the salt and pepper chicken

Great dumpling menu, good service and tasty food. One of the best Chinese restaurants. I travel from Leeds as I still remember them from their old venue on Kirkstall rd. The staff are fantastic. The venue is one of the best decorated you'll see.
