Lovely tasty food, chef did a great job! Not impressed with hygiene and data protection though, no sanitiser in the bottle on arrival, my personal details just left on a table for anyone to take, arrows on the floor which directed customers to squeeze by each other just an inch apart. Staff were very effecient, but looked miserable, not a smile to be seen among them. Menu online on their updated website is great, just a shame the dishes we went for weren't even on the menu! They could have easily updated their online menu so it wasn't false. Well done chef, Manager - up your game!
A large place with a friendly atmosphere. I had the carvery, which was lovely and reasonably priced. The staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome.

Staff are always smiling and always put the customer first. Only been three times in the last four months, but staff seem to remember you. Would highly recommend the Cheesy Chips and 4 slices of Garlic Ciabatta (may have gotten ahead of myself before I took the picture - it really is THAT good!)
Our family eat here quite regularly. We always enjoy the Carvery, not had a bad meal off the main menu. Staff are friendly and remember you, lovely spot to sit out in the sun. Food is reasonably priced.
The place is very clean and well set out, there is the option to sit outside with extra space upstairs if needed. All the staff I spoke to were polite and friendly, the main menu has a wide variety with the option of a carvery. Drink and food service was very excellent along with follow up service if needed. Food was outstanding and cooked well, I will be returning again and will recommend. 100% all round well done to everyone at The Dancing Goose.

Since the new management took over the venue has improved tremendously after initial teething problems. Now the food is excellent; well sourced, prepared and cooked. The roast dinner option (served Wednesday to Sunday) is extremely popular. The mainly female staff are another reason why some men may enjoy visiting. I recommend it as a place to eat.
We've been here a few times since it opened in the summer and have always found the service to be very good. The carvery is excellent and the menu choices are varied and superb quality.
Since becoming the Dancing Goose this restaurant/pub has become a 'go to' for Sunday roast dinner or whenever family come to visit!
Friendly informative service on food allergies and alternative choices, went as a family group for family birthday and a lovely set of staff to table serve us all, informed us of the 20% discounts for over 65s seniors. The staff were chatty, friendly and created a relaxed atmosphere. The new owners/Management have turned this place around from the previous folk, which had locally k own fearsome negativity . Well done! The food is now lovely, reasonably priced home cooked meals and carvery with fresh vegetables ,now caters for vegan,vegetarians and gluten free products. Love the change of name The Dancing Goose.
Lovely meal nice and hot. Staff very friendly and polite. This was our 2nd visit we had a evening meal in the week food was lovely I had small rack of ribs they were to die for. All the little extras plate for bones and wet wipe for sticky fingers. You will see us again for sure. Thanks to all.
