I had a proper plate of fish and chips here. Chips are crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The cod is crispy yet not greasy - very impressed by this. The flesh was juicy and flaky too. It comes with mushy peas, tartare sauce, and a salad for around 15 quid. The food alone would've satisfied me, but the service was wonderful too. Very friendly and the food came out quite quickly. If you're craving fish and chips and you're in the area, this is a must try spot.

This place is seriously good!! We just moved into the neighbourhood and picked this restaurant for our first meal. The chips are PERFECT! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; not too sweet oily either. The fish was soft and moist, but could be larger in size (my wife wasn’t happy about it) . Not a frozen one like you’d normally get in most places.
