Fantastic little veggie cafe find. Had 2 vegan sausage sarnies that were simply great and filled a hole. God knows what bread and sausages they use but they were spot on.
Very family friendly and local arts are on show <3

Went there for breakfast and that was the plan. Turns out I've spent there almost two hours just enjoying time there.
Had two slices of brown bread with mature cheddar, baked beans and scrambled eggs. I have to say bread is worth dying for. Its fresh, well made, tasty. Love The crust on it. And you could teste that cheddar was mature and fresh. Portions where big and enough for adult to fill.
Once that was over I had chocolate shortcake and rhubarb crumble ( which until now I never tried here.) Love chocolate as it had well flavoured chocolate. Rhubarb in the other hand felt a bit too heavy with flour. I would change recipe for that one in particular. Bit less flour so it doesn't get dry too quickly. It could be just that one piece i had.
Overall I'm giving 5 stars. Regardless of my dry rhubarb crumble ( unless rhubarb crumble was supposed to be like that) and the fact you can't pay with card there. Yes I know atm is just a minute away from Cafe. Still we're in 2020 and that's basics. Service was great too, thanks to three lovely girls that was serving. I'm definitely coming back to try other thing On menu.
And if you there, go upstairs, sit next to window and enjoy the view of river below. <3

Great breakfast. Followed by a short walk in the Torrs. Friendly staff and owner. Good toys upatairs to keep kids happy and even emergency nappies for babies.

Great range of vegan and vegetarian food + the coffee is absolutely fantastic and it's not vastly overpriced either. Get yourself a table upstairs in the bay window.

Warm and homely veggie cafe that is deceptively quite big with multiple rooms - which I personally dig. My mate told me the owner purposefully made it child friendly, so we took our 10 month old and he couldn't have been more right. Room upstairs has toys and a high chair already. Oh, and the food was top notch and the assistants very friendly. Couldn't be better.

We love it here! Gorgeous food and a huge variety. Lots of gluten free and vegan options as well as veggie. Very healthy portion sizes. Friendly staff. You can pick up food to take away. They also support local artists and community groups. Love it!

Lovely food with lots of choice, reasonable prices. Freindly staff. Has bit of charm and great views depending on where you sit. Also does a suspended drink scheme and refill water scheme, so helps the community too.

This place serves great food, had my lunch here today. Went for the 5 bean chilli and it was gorgeous. I also had a cheeky vegan peanut butter flapjack and that was immense too

Popped in for a coffee & lovely Millionaire shortbread after walking locally. Other food looked really appetising and woukd definitely visit again.

Went here for breakfast the other day. Generous portions, very tasty, pleasant staff, good value. Probably the best cafe in New Mills currently, unless you are craving meat or alcohol. Nice views from upstairs.

My favourite place to eat and read the Guardian in New Mills. Decent vegetarian café with many vegan friendly dishes too.
