As a family of 4, we love this place! Popped in for drinks and food, which were so tasteful, and the service was really welcoming. Staff are very polite and smiley, which is rarity now abays. If you're in New Quay pop in, you won't be disappointed

Oh my floof, we had the most wonderful visit today at the Mariners. Dog friendly is an understatement. It was heaven for our fur baby Shelby. The staff were so welcoming & made it an absolute pleasure to stop here. I have no hesitation in recommending them. 5 stars doesn't seem enough. The only sad part is that we are on holiday, if this was local to us we would definitely make it a regular visit.

So tasty, seriously I can't get enough!
I have milk and soya allergies and the server checked what I could have and it was pretty much anything so I was quite taken aback because most chip shops use milk in batter and soya in sausages. 100% recommend this place.

We called here for the first time yesterday evening, since it's been taken over by new owners. We had the tastiest meal we've had in a ling time, absolutely stunning. The chips were crispy outside, fluffy inside, and the home made chicken curry was delicious, with lots of tender chicken pieces. My partner opted for the chicken n bacon pie which was on the special board, and again, was absolutely fabulous. Well done to all the staff. Will happily call again soon xx

As good as ever and as good as it gets. Back for another holiday in NQ and the 1st port of call is always Mariners. Fantastic take away. 5x cod + chips, scampi + chips, jumbo sausage + chips, fish bites kids meal (incl drink) and a cheese and leek risible (never seen one before, really tasty if a little dry) all for under £58! Crazy value for such quality. Amazed to read in reviews that there are new owners. They haven't dropped the standards at all. Those chips 💖 ...... See you later in the week.

Came to Newquay yesterday (Saturday) and saw on the blackboard the Yorkshire pudding roast dinner wraps were being served the next day (Sunday).
So so so glad we travelled back an hour to come and try it out as we were not disappointed. The restaurant is immaculate and the staff were incredible!
Got to say it’s one of the best if not the best roasts my partner and I have ever had.
100% would recommend!
