Food was excellent and not over priced. Our visit was midweek so restaurant was very quiet. Helpful and friendly staff.
Visited here as part of a group. We booked in advance which paid off as the restaurant soon started filling up. We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table straight away.
I chose the fish meze platter for my main course which is a 2 person sharing dish. I did share! Plenty of choice and the food just kept coming. The steaks looked nice and those that had them said they were fantastic! It's not the cheapest of restaurants but if you want good traditional Greek food it's worth paying that bit extra. There are vegetarian options too so there's something for everyone.
I was throughly impressed with the meal and the service tonight, it's always a pleasure to dine here. My family is always fussy when eating out but we can all agree this is one of our favourite restaurants to eat at. It's probably the best in Newark in my opinion. 10/10 would recommend and eat here again.
Visited on Tuesday evening with three friends ,small but very nice atmosphere and quite busy for a Tuesday . Two of us had the meze platter ,which was a mixture of all the dishes on menu ,including sweets . We really enjoyed the food and there was plenty . My other two friends chose 3 courses off main menu and again food was very good , especially the lamb . Service ,even thought there was only one person was excellent and cost was very reasonable . Well worth a visit when visiting Newark .
Set mezzes (more than two people) was absolutely a good call! Giant portions and delicious food. Comes to less than 25 pounds per person. The dessert was especially lovely.
Very friendly service here. A good choice on the menu and food is really tasty and reasonably priced. This was my second visit and I will be going back again.
The best baklava in Newark. The restaurant overlooks Newark Castle if you manage to be fortunate enough like we did and get a window seat. This was the first time, I have been to a Greek restaurant and was exquisite. We ordered the mezze and had four rounds of food including desert. The service was excellent and food was coming round even before we finished. The highlight of my visit was the desert and baklava. The food included a range of vegetarian and meat options and something for everyone. Definitely recommend and will visit again.
Never had a bad steak yet, and I order steak every time I'm there. By far my favourite place to eat steak in Newark. My companions inform me that other food choices are just as delicious. Perhaps a little pricier than other restaurants in Newark, but they do have a great value set price menu, on which steak is present. Occasionally they have "Greek nights" where you can indulge yourself in a little plate smashing, should you feel a little irate, it's a good way to let off some steam. Great food, great staff.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat. Food is excellent and reasonable priced. Strongly recommend going with a group and all ordering the meat Mezze. Five courses of almost entirely meat. We came, we ordered, we were conquered....
Warm room on a cold night, prompt service, good food. Limited choice of red wine by the glass only minus. We'll definitely eat there again.
