Nice and clean friendly staff. Need more veggie options. The fish and chips was lovely.

I have a severe nut allergy and have struggled to find a chippy that can accommodate me to eat and that includes when I lived in Coventry. Moved to rugby 3 years ago my wife spoke on the phone to fishsmiths and they confidently reassured us that I can eat anything on the menu haven’t looked back since. The quality is always amazing regardless of what you choose and they delivery time is great aswell always welcomed with a smile when picking up a collection. Really appreciate how easy they have made it for me to enjoy a Friday night take away again with a severe nut allergy wouldn’t use anywhere else 10/10 👍

Visited Fishsmiths tonight - our first time as we were passing on the Oxford canal. Web ordering is a pleasure, and the food is even better. Ready on time and order handed over with a smile. Will definitely get a second, or third, visit from us while we are in the area. Deserves 6 stars!

Fantastic Chippy, with great options for Veggies & Vegans, not sure what the previous reviewer was on about as I go here weekly (Vegan 🌱 ) and the owner is always engaging and asking for ideas for new options. The chips are cooked separately which I really appreciate (although I'm not overly fussed as long as I'm only eating plant based foods, I understand its a challenge for a small business to offer exclusively vegan cooking apparatus). It's by far one of the cleanest fast food outlets I've been to with a friendly team behind the counter you can always have a joke with. If I had a criticism, it would only be that they don't deliver to the village I live in (but as its 8 miles away and no other restaurant offers delivery, they're not being unreasonable really 🤣🙏🏼)

Final night on the canal network and a fellow boater told us about this fish shop and co op! Co op was irrelevant but the fish shop was amazing! The food was to die for, i had a mediterranean chicken kebab meal! Staff and service were fantastic and came quickly as well! Highly recommend!

Never had a problem here. Staff always great. Nice and clean. Prices are ok. Good parking. Outside seating. They even do a vegan pie. Only thing I would say is more vegan food. There are great vegan fish finger's/steaks, burgers, sausages and chicken nuggets now.

Used to be Larry's years ago, but now under new management, I had a great fish and chip dinner from here, nit greasy at all, food was well packed and hot! Staff were very friendly!

Fantastic chip shop. I cannot comment on the food as I tried to use fake cash but they wouldn’t accept it, will try again in a couple of weeks! but it looked very nice and I’m sure it would have filled me up. Great customer service.

Had fish and chips tonight. Fish was very tasty and chips were great too. All hot when we got them home and really like the new brown card takeaway boxes. Not many places get it right. Fab!
