I give 5 stars to this pub as it did well with service as well with the food. A good stop over for a 45 minute walk each way as part of my new exercise regime. Pheasant season is apparent and I simply love viewing allotments - holders have such green fingers.

Welcoming, attentive service staff. Great Sunday dinner and better and cheaper than say Newbury town centre.
Extra veg and a few extra potatoes on the side but not overwhelming.
Tip added to the bill to say thank you. We had a lovely meal.

Excellent, sensibly priced food served by friendly staff. Lovely outdoor space for children & now somewhere that is becoming a favourite lunch spot.
