Wonderful staff which owned up to making the menu themselves along with the chef, such brilliant use of colours, herbs and spices tastes and all in a wonderful restaurant, with a spacious vibe! More people need to experience the flavoursome explosion with their taste buds..

A great, authentic place. Good prices, plesent service and very tasty dishes. Can get busy in the evening, so a reservation will make sure you don't need to wait. Highly recommended.

Pleasantly surprised to find authentic Malaysian food outside of london. If you want to try Malaysian food without the expense of flying to Malaysia or parking in London this is definitely the place to visit. Would have been 5 star but char kuay teow didn’t have cockles (my wife’s favourite in Malaysia) also the Nasi lemak didn’t have fried peanuts. Apart from that we all loved the food and will definitely be returning.

Food fantastic. Large portions. Things come as they are ready so prepare for starters coming after mains. Very plain cafe like surroundings but clean. Staff friendly and service quick. Not fine dinning but food really good.

Absolutely fantastic food and very reasonably priced. Best curry I've ever had. Would go back again and again. Coconut rice is amazing with the beef curry. Asparagus is lush also as well as the squid and crab claws. Mmm amazing!

Great place, easygoing atmosphere. Staff are friendly. Menu offers a small but varied range of Malaysian and other oriental foods. Food is well cooked, not overdone and vegetables are fresh. All textures and flavours are clear and the dishes have distinct and authentic tastes and aromas. Waiting times for food are quite short. Food is very reasonably priced, and one can expect to pick up a meat dish, veg and rice for under £15, but there are cheaper options still. I will continue to return here as I think it's one of the best local restaurants in terms of value for money. As a suggestion I would like to more rice options on the menu, especially sticky/short-grain.

Sat here now. Great spicy food. Not so cheap these days. But worth it. Simple spicy street food done well. Independent restaurant too, so good to support this place rather than all the big chains that Newbury has.

Nice decor, fantastic staff. Had the tofu dish with coconut rice; and they both really lovely. The tofu and mushrooms were cooked to perfection; excellent flavours and mouth-watering seasoning. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is due to the lack of vegetarian options. As a vegetarian, I would love to see more vegetarian options on the menu. As aforementioned, the tofu was delish, but I would love to try more veggie dishes. Please please please introduce more v*n dishes to your menu! Much love x

Absolutely brilliant . Tried most things on the menu and all are delicious. The beef Rendang is amazing as is the fish curry . It's skatewing so don't buy if you don't like bones . Worth it if you don't mind getting your hands messy . One of the best fish curries I've ever had ! Service is fast usually except when restaurant is full . Even then it's pretty quick compared to most places. Don't expect starters and mains though . The food comes out as soon as it's cooked and can come in any order . I highly recommend this place .
