Went for meal at Greek Table. Friday night mezze & entertainment. Amazing evening, delicious food just kept coming. The entertainment all evening was phenomenal

Had a fab evening meal here. Lovely courtyard out the back. The Greek Table food is delish. Shared a variety of small dishes and salads and everything was lovely and fresh. The staff were fab and really chatty. I recommend their Friday night mezze and entertainment nights!

Wanted to try something different than the nearby hotel where I was staying. Admittedly this is the first time I've had fish pie and it did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and prompt. Will definitely visit again when I return to the area.

Excellent pub to eat or chill. Very well decorated and has a nice sofa corner to relax in. Good menu choices and friendly staff. Service was quick and food was top quality and reasonably priced. The set menu is good value. Plenty of parking, or if busy you can park over the road .

Amazing! Popped in for a cheeky bit of lunch as we were passing through and stopped to see the castle. The staff were friendly and welcoming from our arrival, and were keen to make sure we were well looked after. The food was served promptly and of a very high standard and was great value for money. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

I went for a pleasant walk around the ruins of the Donnington Castle and then just opposite the path to the road there was the Castle pub. It was a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff were very accommodating. The food was excellent quality with many reasonable priced options.

Wife took me out for a meal to a place I have not been to in 30 odd years...its changed a lot.
Good warm welcome and seated.Food was fantastic ,Whitebait to start,the a vegan burger which was fantastic full of flavour and cooked to perfection.We will be returning

If you're visiting thatcham or Newbury then I recommend this place, we found it by pure chance. The vegetarian menu was enough for both of us to indulge. The mushroom pasta was one of the best I have ever tasted, and our pepper, avacado, mushroom sandwich was equally delicious. A generous portion of fries came which were perfectly cooked. The staff were courteous, friendly and very dog friendly. Our cider was just the job on such a lovely day. My only regret is not staying in the area another day to go back for more. 10 out of 10.
