A lovely old fashioned cafe and bakery. It has the beams and ambience of an ancient dwelling and the owner has lived there all her life. We had a pleasant lunch and conversation in what must be a real cornerstone of Newbury life.
First class breakfast here. I look forward to returning and trying more of there large variety on the menu as use quality food and cooked to perfection.
Popped in today en route to the train station, picked up a cottage loaf, not had one in years, and 4 currant buns. Oh my days just absolutely delicious. It's grand to see proper bread and buns still being made.
