We recently visited for a short stay after our wedding, and we’ve got to say that it was the right choice. From arriving a short time after 3pm we got a very warm welcome from the reception staff, a complimentary upgrade (thank you). The Swan is just the perfect place to relax and take in the amazing views. The food was incredible and again the pub and restaurant staff made us feel right at home. And once you’ve had a day exploring, the Holte spa is for you. Thank you to everyone at The Swan, we’ll be back again very soon.
This hotel is located at the bottom of the windermere. Brilliant location and very easy to find. Parking is at the rear/side of the building with plenty of room. The food is extremely good, and breakfast is not to be missed. Have been to the hotel at least 3 times and never disappointed me. The SPA is a must !
We had the ultimate pleasure of staying in the Love Nest for our little mini-moon. We have three kids and two dogs, so the absolute SILENCE that we were subjected to was out of this world. The service we received was 5 star, especially from Gill (or Jill) in the restaurant/brasserie, so please pass our thanks on again to her. Service was quick and the food was really nice. The location is beautiful and the views are lovely. We also visited the spa and had a few treatments included in our stay, so we upgraded these to make them a little longer and it was so relaxing. Overall an excellent break.
