My wife and I have just "attempted" to eat the mega oatcake. We didn't even get close to finishing it. It was extremely tasty with everything cooked well. It is also great value considering that based on our attempt it would happily feed a family of four. Staff are very friendly and only took about 10 mins from ordering which considering it was Sunday morning I was pleasantly surprised by.
I would highly recommend castle oatcakes and especially the mega oatcake.

Best oatcakes in the area. Don't get me wrong, would have them use a different cheese but that is just personal preference! Always get them delivered and the staff are so friendly and happy to help. When we put a big order in, they always make the effort to put names on each box to make sure they're easy to hand out when they get to the office.

I loved the double oatcakes with beans, cheese, tomato and egg. Got some extra oatcakes to take away to have another day. Would definitely call here again. Wish I lived closer.

You can eat in the little hut next to it or outside on the tables and chairs provided too.
I use these couple of times a month for a couple of bacon and egg sandwiches, and it is great. The sandwiches were lovely no problem.

Friendly staff , lovely taste , they missed the black pudding off my order today but still enjoyed it. My only slight gripe is that the mega oatcakes seem to have shrunk in size, advertised as 15 inch but nowhere near that size now. Yet the price is still the same for less. Worth a visit though.
Another thing worth noting is i go every week have the same item and get charged differently every week depending on who serves me and when I tell them just shrug it off.
That doesn't take away from the nice flavours though.
