Trying out a local in Newcastle upon Lyne and I was not disappointed. It was soup of the day leek potato with toasted cheese , enough to stuff me for most of the day. Wish I could have ordered a cake to take away as the framed pictures in the cafe really looked good. The cake decorating look at realistic that u can appreciate the time and taken to make it. Any it looks a fantastic place to get your cakes from.
Amazing selection of cakes including gluten free and vegan options. Subtle flavours, light sponges and friendly staff. My personal favourite is the vegan peanut butter brownies slightly warmed. Amazing! Prices are reasonable too. What's not to like! Try it.
A little gem hidden just outside the main shops of the town centre. Nice tea and coffee, as a much better price than most coffee shops, great hot food... but the real treat here is the cakes. As soon as you walk through the door you're greeted with a shelf full of cakes to choose from, and every single one of them tastes amazing.
Staff are lovely, prices are good, food and drink are fantastic. It's only small, but if you're like me and not much over crowded cafes and coffee shops, that just adds to my already high opinion.
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere Staff are pleasant and always smiling All the food is exceptional The cakes, the toasties, the soup, the sandwiches, the oatcakes. All diets are catered for. Birthday and Wedding cakes made to order are unbelievable and are a work of art. Family run business. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.
Been here a few times now, top service every time. Exceptionally friendly staff and a big selection of cakes (including standard choices and more uncommon ones). Gluten free and decaf options and an entire vegan menu. I'm yet to try their savoury Hungarian specialty but fully intend to return and give it a go. Great little place!
This shop was recommended to me by someone as I have looking for a cafe that served vegan cakes in Stoke. The shop has a nice happy atmosphere and the waiter was very friendly. Every customer seemed to know each other which was great. I ordered a cup of green tea and a vegan chococolate cake and fruit cake for take way. i read a book Ihad with me while i drank my tea. It was a beautiful experience.I will definitely be going back there.
Went in for a 21st birthday cake, the staff were very helpful and helped me choose a design. I have just being to pick the cake up and I am very pleased. Is was exactly what was promised. The lady who served me (not sure if she is the owner?) even told me the best way to transport it home in the car.
To sum up a very professional and friendly service.

Fantastic cakes!! Ordered a birthday cake for my husbands 40th!! Three tiered, one layer chocolate and two Victoria sponge and it was light gorgeous sponge!! Will definitely order again! Friendly helpful staff also!!

Very good selection of cakes to eat in or order for takeaway. Vegan cakes also available. They make sandwiches as well.

I have visited Busybee a few times over the last few months. I gave always found it to be cosy and extremely clean. This is a credit to the ladies who run this establishment. Food is always nice and fresh and served proptly. It is also renown for its cakes which are baked on site. I have tried quite a few of these and all of them were scumptious. Coffee is also a delight to accompany the cakes.
