Just enjoyed a wonderful full English breakfast. Very reasonably priced. Freshly prepared using high quality ingredients. I cannot recall having tasted a better breakfast. The owner Victor cooks from scratch and is most welcoming.

Just had Breakfast here and I really enjoyed it. It's been a while since I have been anywhere and enjoyed a meal as much as I just have. The service was second to none, lovely people. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. First class home cooked fare 5 *****

Went to try the cafe for the first time today.
The owner very helpfull indeed as well as a real character.Service was top notch could not do too much for you.The food was very good indeed, the lovely pastries are homemade, the beer is enjoyable and the coffee is excellant.Looking forward to lunch again next week..A real pleasure !

The owner is very friendly and made us feel welcome. Coffee just how I like it but the cake is off the scale. We had carrot and walnut cake which was, quite honestly, the best we've ever tasted. Superb.

Visited the windmill cafe when in a weekend away in Stoke on Trent. The food was absolutely delicious! The owner was very accommodating and made our visit very enjoyable! Will definitely recommend to others and visit again if ever in the area! Thank you for a little piece of Portugal x

Fresh food with so much flavour! Fantastic Portuguese restaurant that have English dishes too! The staff are absolutely wonderful too, so friendly. Really enjoyed my time, will be back very soon 😊

Just like being in Portugal! Amazing food and atmosphere. Victor the owner was very welcoming and helpful. Fresh ingredients in the meal and freshly baked bread and cakes. 10/10

What a fantastic place! Second visit today in a month. Delicious Portuguese food that is cooked completely from fresh. Amazing customer service from Victor and Ana. This is probably the best quality food available in Newcastle. If you haven't been here and love good food you have to visit. There is a set menu but always a daily special on offer. The olives and bread are delicious as a side or starter. The speciality custard tarts are the nicest I've tasted. Portuguese beer is available too, Superbock,Sagres and Sagres Dark (which is my favourite). Definitely will be going back many times.
