It's well located in the main street around the town centre just next to the park. Popular with the locals; we came to have breakfast and was well impressed!

Great pub, basic no frills, good atmosphere. Excellent place to stop for a drink or drink and meal. Order and pay at counter. No music as its a good meeting place for people to talk. The prices are excellent £6.75 for burger and chips and a drink included. Food hot and fresh, the chips were crisp on outside, soft and fluffy on inside, coleslaw was very good like home made. Woukd recommend and we will visit again.
Had a great night out with friends. If I could single out one of the best things about it, it was the attention to detail and help we had from Harry. We were a large group, all ordering food and drinks.

There were 3 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. We had chicken tika curry with nan and rice, rice a bit dry but cost very reasonable
Clean & tidy but a little tired in places. Had breakfast & food was hot & ok .Food is really cheap & tea & coffee is only £1.25 with unlimited refills at the machine that serves tea,latte expresso milky coffee Black coffee etc . Recommended for breakfast on a budget !
It's a cool, typical English pub. It's very common to see English older people drinking beer. Good staff, the only minus is that they close early. Large selection of alcoholic beverages, and the prices are the best
Busy at weekends with limited table areas to have meals. The meals are reasonably priced and the service can vary from waiting 20 mins up to 40mins
