Gorgeous food! Went for brunch after searching top rated places in the area and it didn't disappoint. One of the best shawarma I've ever had.
Great little restaurant with a strong focus on locally sourced food! Food was very tasty, fresh and healthy. Serves mainly small plates but also offers larger meals as well as a variety of specials available.
Love, love, love this place. Staff: quality Food: quality Ambience: quality Price: very reasonable Size: quite small, need to book Been twice in a month. You need to go.
Friendly, cosy, not too noisy, and beautifully lit. Tapas-style eating, we ordered 3 small plates and a dip per person. The quantity was perfect and all the dishes were excellent. Tapas style eating can often turn out to be quite pricey but the bill was fine. We'll definitely be back.
So lovely atmosphere, fresh food, marvelous staff ..
Booked table with ease online. Very cosy little place. Really good food, and a good drinks selection. Apparently the menu changes often. We had hummus, scotch egg, and falafal (which were particularly amazing) to share, and then each had schwarma - I had lamb, boyfriend had chicken. Really tasty foo
Nice place to catch the sun setting through the large windows. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was great, portions were quite small but made up in flavour so all good.
Funky decor and nice atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and the food was delish! We went for the breakfasts and I had the labneh. Homemade lemonade and OJ is super tasty too. Would recommend the yummy coffee too
Perfect evening - warm, friendly and efficient staff, comfortable and relaxing space, food outstanding - so much work had gone into many of the dishes, complex, rich flavours all very well balanced - inventive and surprising dishes, good portions (perhaps a little generous in places) but everything
First visit and I absolutely loved it. Had the Xmas menu, salmon followed by monk fish. Fabulous flavours and the cheesecake was amazing. Definitely worth going and I will return.
Harissa is an absolute gem! The restaurant is beautifully lit with an intimate and relaxed feeling. The food itself is delicious - we had the mezes and they were well presented and a good portion. Everything is carefully crafted and the food is local where possible. Make Harissa your next meal out
Love going to Harissa for a weekend (or even weekday) Brunch. The breakfasts are delicious, filling and I don't feel too guilty afterwards. There are also loads of options for a tasty lunch with massive salad portions! The evening menu is great too but my fave is definitely brunch. Love the view do
Amazing! That's the only way I can describe my first visit. I know I will be back there soon too. Wish there was a Harissa in Gosforth where food options are pretty poor. Mouth wateringly delicious food, lovely staff, great place and wonderful ethos. Do yourself a favour and go.. soon!
After suffering through a disastrous experience at a restaurant down the street myself and my two friends stumbled upon Harissa looking for a Plan B. It was 830pm and we were extremely hungry and increasingly desperate for dinner! While the name clearly suggested Mediterranean cuisine we didn't real
5 star service really helpful my son did not fancy anything on the menu and the team were happy to cater for him. Inspired wine list will be coming back without the kids to enjoy the atmosphere and casual style dining with a glass of cava.
Have been wanting to come here for awhile but never got round to it. I have been to the market stall and always enjoyed it. Got the mezze which was nice, friend got rhe chicken shawarma which looked good as well. Waitress was also really nice and accommodating.
Love the food here - always prepared to travel that little bit further than normal for the food here. Service very attentive and food varied and delicious.
