Smart bar with good atmosphere and helpful staff. Food could not be faulted - we had the Sharing board and it was crammed with bread, cheese, meats with a large bowl of hummus. The cocktails were divine and beautifully presented.

The family have been here twice now for Sunday lunch and an early evening midweek meal and both times the quality of the food has been of a very high standard and very reasonably priced as well. I will definitely be back. I recommend the Sirloin of Beef on the Sunday lunch menu and the Skewers and Chef's selection platter on the evening menu. You will not be disappointed.

Been to BonBar many times and always had an amazing experience. The interior is absolutely stunning and the staff are really friendly. We've both eaten there during the day (food is amazing) and attended parties and always had a superb time. Definitely one of Newcastle’s best venues.

Decent upmarket cocktail bar, feels upmarket and feels like the sort of place to get dressed up to go to. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and its well worth the extra dosh you spend in there compared to other places. Location wise its not far from the train station and metro bus.

visited in May 2015. Food was delicious, 2 courses and a drink and spent less than £20. Small portions tho. for how nice the food was well worth the visit. May still be peckish when you leave tho.

Went in Saturday night to visit my friend who works there. The decor has a classic vintage feel and the atmosphere was energetic. The DJs kept everyone dancing all night. Had a great time.

Food was nice, but the setting was a little stange... extra tables on the stage felt like an after thought to make use of the busy restaurant week? Enjoyed the meal though, we'll visit again

Hi went to a 18th birthday mocktail party yesterday . I work as a p.a. to young vulnerable adults and children. The staff were lovely very welcoming. The young barman Lewis who was hosting the mocktail making was brilliant. Some of the young adults needed some extra help and he was very patient and understanding. I'd like to say it's a lovely bar and the mocktail making everyone enjoyed this new experience. Thankyou Lewis and the staff at bonbar .

Visited 220515. Nice food. The bon bar burger is recommended. My wife said the sticky toffee pudding was gorgeous and I liked the chocolate bomb.Nice layout inside.
