Favourite chippy by a mile, fish is a good size, also it’s always fresh and nice and white on the inside, the batter is always also fresh and light which shows that they use fresh clean oil regularly which makes a big difference, also chips are of great quality, fresh, soft on the inside and crispy
Simply the best fish and chips shop North of the Tyne. Their scampi is just wonderful and their chips are tasty and not soggy. Fish is always in crisp batter unlike other places. It has become our first choice for fried food.greagreat

Fresh food lovely workers on the front. Could be a bit quicker during peak times. Ran out of chips twice while I was there... However that just says how good it is I guess! I got them fresh and hot. And eaten every last one! Was yum. Highly recommended!!! Best chippy this side of the river I'd say.

Only feedback would be to cook the chips a smidge longer as they were slightly anaemic last time however this doesn't stop me from g
First class chippy, very popular and for good reason. Always display details of local fish source. It can get quite busy due to its popularity, but well worth the wait. There's a small car parking area in front and a good car park next to it.

By far the best fish and chip shop around. The quality and variety of food is excellent. The service is fantastic. Most often there are queues but this only speaks volumes. However, the queue goes down really fast.
