Favourite chippy by a mile, fish is a good size, also it’s always fresh and nice and white on the inside, the batter is always also fresh and light which shows that they use fresh clean oil regularly which makes a big difference, also chips are of great quality, fresh, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, girls serving always friendly and have a smile on their face, will be back again!
Simply the best fish and chips shop North of the Tyne. Their scampi is just wonderful and their chips are tasty and not soggy. Fish is always in crisp batter unlike other places. It has become our first choice for fried food.greagreat

Fresh food lovely workers on the front. Could be a bit quicker during peak times. Ran out of chips twice while I was there... However that just says how good it is I guess! I got them fresh and hot. And eaten every last one! Was yum. Highly recommended!!! Best chippy this side of the river I'd say. (I've just come from London and can't get a decent chippy no where down south... So was lovely to come home to this)
Update** still the best chippy in the north east, got the kids fish and chips meal, £4.50 was a bargain with a fruit shoot and bag of haribo... Lovely touch. Everyone's happy! 👌😊
