Wagamama

Fantastic place to grab food with friends. We had all the starters. I loved the mushrooms, edamame with chilli, veg gyoza and cauluflower. It was a cold day so I got a couple of green teas as well as a katsu curry. We had a great time and the food is alwaus consistently good. Everyone in our group was happy.

Had dinner yesterday with my husband as it's been a while since we had some ramen, and as usual, it did not disappoint! The wait was not long. We had to queue outside before coming in, and with 2 parties ahead of us, I would say it took roughly 5 mins before we were ushered into our table inside. While in the queue we were also asked if we had any allergies, and I find this quite helpful because my nephew who has allergies likes this place too. Once seated, it wasn't long before we had wait staff to get our orders. Ordering was straightforward and the food came out in a timely manner. We had to wait a little longer for one of our orders, but more than made up for it when we had a taste. We both had the Korean BBQ Beef bun and the Tama Squid (amazing!) and our usual fix of Shirodashi Ramen. Food was good as always! It was a little bit busy as it was a Saturday evening, but our male server was quite attentive and nice. My husband had to ask one of the servers if she could kindly bring us some water - which we never got. Although I was a little annoyed at this, I did consider how busy they were, and just shrugged it off. Otherwise, good experience!

First visit to the Newcastle restaurant and served by a lovely, friendly, gentleman Geoff. He served us and made us feel welcome and followed up on 2 occasions to see if we were happy with the food and drink and if we needed anything else. Definitely be back. The food was lovely. Big thank you to the chefs too 10/10
