This is one of the best places for sushi in Newcastle. The sushi is high quality and tasty. We have always had great meals here and love this restaurant. The tempura prawns are light and crispy and the food is always fresh. There is also a large selection of items available on the menu. A must visit for anyone looking for a casual sushi restaurant serving brilliant food.
The food was so good! The salmon melts in your mouth, and every dish was so aesthetic, well presented. The waiter was kind too
Really good food, not just sushi but a whole range of Japanese delights. The menu is huge, and everything we had was lovely, particularly the super-light tempura. Pleasant service and reasonable prices too, definitely worth a visit!
Edit: went back last night, and if anything the food was even fresher and better. Great to see they haven't become complacent 😋
We ordered sushi (Tokyo set), tempura, garlic beef, tofu, oyster and grilled eel for a easter celebration dinner with long time no see family members. Foods are good in general. Sushi is the best among all the things ordered. Services and atmosphere are excellent.

So fresh and the rice is beautifully cooked with the perfect amount of seasoning. We always order way too much and we still managed to eat it all as it’s just so good!

The food was delicious, we got a good range of the sushi rolls available and everything we had was great! The tempura veg platter is amazing and the portions are good.

I live near here and see the owner make multiple fresh delivery's to the chefs every day when I walk the dog. The food is very fresh here that's for sure.
We ordered grilled eel, deep fried oysters, salmon skewers that were on special, deep fried squid, soft shell crab sushi, and 3 bento boxes. We had a large warm carafe of sake, a cocktail and 2 soft frinks. It all came to £82. Absolute bargain and the eel was amazing, so soft and delicate.
The toilet is multi sex and has 3 cubicles upstairs so no good if you are disabled, very clean. Great service and great fresh food.
