I have had one of the best Indian meals ever, and I have had plenty from all over.
I called on the off chance and wasn't disappointed. I had the best pickle tray ever (see photo) and then followed with a Chickpea dish. Not that I am vegetarian, but I just wanted something different to try. I wasn't disappointed at all.
I will definitely be returning when I am next in Newcastle.
However, saying all that the price of a pint of soda and lime was over the top at £4:00 for a pint 😲.
Just had a lovely dinner here. The quality of the food is excellent! So much flavour! The rice is fluffy the curry tasted delicious. It wasn’t unhealthily greasing and tasted really authentic. No cheap alternatives. Just the perfect meal.
They were also so kind, I asked to bring home some leftover curry. They came out with a box and they’d added some extra rice to go with it without asking. Excellent customer service. You really feel like they care.

Really pretty venue with very attentive, charming staff. Really wide, interesting menu. Our group got a range of food covering all sorts of spice levels and carnivorism and all left very content. Can't wait to come back
Came here for valentines day on the recommendation of a few friends, can say it absolutely didn't disappoint.
Wonderful food, beautifully cooked - the best korma I've had. Beautifully spiced, rich curries.
There was a great deal on for valentines so I can't speak for the normal prices, but we were very happy with what we paid. Absolutely huge portions as well, we had a starter and a main each and couldn't finish.
Friendly and helpful staff, we had an issue with the reservation confirmation and they were able to fix it straight away.
The best restaurant I've found in Newcastle so far - I can't wait to go back!
Lovely place for Indian food . The options are varied and you multiple veg /non veg options . You can choose from curry bases to tandoori . Wide range of veg and non veg starters . Really a lovely find and would come back again :)
I haven't had a decent curry in a long time. Visiting a friend we decided to go here. What a surprise. Glorious and Imaginative menu. I loved the food. Plenty of choices for veggies. It was delicious. I will definitely return. Helpful staff. Beautiful restaurant. Clean and warm. Charming surroundings and bathrooms spotless. Well done. Love this place.

Excellent food and service to match. The lamb is melt in the mouth delicious. Service not over attentive but polite and professional. I’ve never tasted better onion pilau.
