Thoroughly enjoyed the drinks I had there. Unfortunately can not rate the food as I didn't have any but I imagine it's as great as the service. As was served multiple times by a lovely young lady called Neve, who was very friendly and pleasant to chat to. Hi crows nest, it won't let me leave a new
Amazing pub! My wife and I were visiting New Castle. We stumbled apon this pub. The bar tenders were an amazing and friendly bunch. I didn't know what beer to choose. The suggestion for Beak Brewery Imperial Stout was a wonderful suggestion! Also was able to sample a few beers they had on tap. I lov
I went to the Crows Nest pub on Friday night after a long week at work and was shattered. I went to the bar didn't know what larger to get for a friend as I am a Guinness drinker but Diane was friendly and chatted and recommended a good choice. i had no idea that another customer had made a negati
Came in today as a off chance for lunch as the other Green king opposite was over a hour wait for food, not used here before and now glad I have as found a hidden gem! In for the Newcastle Home game, unfortunately there was a guy shouting and screaming and giving the bar staff bother, but the manageress dealt with the situation with the upmost respect and calmness, more than he deserved, service here is great and will definitely be back :)
Great place to go before the Newcastle match. Lots of big screens to watch the sport and its also family friendly, which was a plus point for me.
Crows nest is a Newcastle staple & as a local I’ve somewhat neglected going in for some time, passed by yesterday evening & was soon reminded how much love the crows nest has for the region & it’s punters. Service was mint, craic was top tier & the Jakey (jakeshead) was propa caad! 👌 Cheers 🍻
Really good traditional bar nice friendly bar staff and food was good and reasonable prices just across from metro at Haymarket well worth a visit.
Lovely pub with fantastic food. Shout out to the staff that are all welcoming and friendly. Beth is mint.
Great service from the bar staff on match days. Quick and efficient. Haven't tried the food there yet.
I'm fairly often in here because it's a great pub. Huge, and yet not loud, with an excellent range of beers that often includes one from StuBrew, the Newcastle University Brewing Society's brewery. Love how they support them. The pub has an entrance into the NU campus too. And yet it's not studenty!
I visit here often, before and sometimes after a NUFC home game. This time was after the rugby league magic weekend, Saturday night. Quiet at the time of this visit, its usually rammed on matchdays. Nice polite staff, Highley recommended for a visit at anytime! There's always a choice of 4 or 5 real
Didn't eat but was a good place to have a quick drink. Diana was sofriendly and pleasant she was a credit to the company.
Followed on from bad experience at Hancock the Crows Nest has went out of its way to accommodate us a group of five and I couldn’t recommend it anymore for anybody looking for a pub lunch. Thanks again
Dropped in for some beers and scran, Selection great, the Manager behind the bar was great aswel! He had an excellent knowledge of the beers on show, will definitely be back🍻
The Crow’s Nest it a lovely pub and lovely food and the Staff are lovely people and always happy and friendly.
Good place to watch the football although a few customers taking up valuable space with only 1 drink between a table of 8
Young lass behind the bar. Neve I think it was, she was an excellent help, helped me and the wife pick out some lovely scran and some great beer! Can't wait to visit again!
