First time here today for a lunch break whilst shopping in Newcastle. The food was really nice and there was plenty on the menu to choose from. The service was fab and the lady serving was very helpful. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Newcastle!

Thoroughly enjoyed the drinks I had there. Unfortunately can not rate the food as I didn't have any but I imagine it's as great as the service. As was served multiple times by a lovely young lady called Neve, who was very friendly and pleasant to chat to. Hi crows nest, it won't let me leave a new review so having to edit this open. Per your recommendation try try the food, I did so. And will say I'm I am absolutely shocked, that it has taken me so long try try the food. I ordered the flat iron steak I think it's called and I genuinely can not recall the last time I've had steak cooked so perfectly. I asked the staff to passed on my regards to the chef who they informed me is called Emily. I hope you never lose her as looking forward to ordering more food again in the future.

Amazing pub! My wife and I were visiting New Castle. We stumbled apon this pub. The bar tenders were an amazing and friendly bunch. I didn't know what beer to choose. The suggestion for Beak Brewery Imperial Stout was a wonderful suggestion! Also was able to sample a few beers they had on tap. I loved the Flint Eye. The pub grub went beyond our expectations! The Fish and Chips took a bit of time but, Boy... It was worth the wait! The crispy fish and chips with a side of peas was delectable! Especially with the vinegar, and it paired nicely with the beer. No regrets were had here! My wife and I absolutely enjoyed the time we spent here at the Crows Nest. Next time we visit, we will be looking forward to coming back to their establishment! I highly recommend them!

I went to the Crows Nest pub on Friday night after a long week at work and was shattered. I went to the bar didn't know what larger to get for a friend as I am a Guinness drinker but Diane was friendly and chatted and recommended a good choice. i had no idea that another customer had made a negative comment and knocked her confidence because Diane was so professional. Diane's excellent customer service make the difference to me having a great night out so I recommend that Dianne gets a pay rise. Kathy Allen

Came in today as a off chance for lunch as the other Green king opposite was over a hour wait for food, not used here before and now glad I have as found a hidden gem! Really nice old style aesthetics, calm customer base, food was of any top quality restaurant I had the steak and ale pie and the gravy that came with was superb in taste and richness. Call out to the kitchen here very good! David was our host as such welcoming from the entrance though the food service and the leaving. We had our dog so dog friendly and again David did what he could for any dog, water , attention and made to feel comfortable. Recommended visited on a Wednesday lunch time 1-4 Lady host was also helpful

In for the Newcastle Home game, unfortunately there was a guy shouting and screaming and giving the bar staff bother, but the manageress dealt with the situation with the upmost respect and calmness, more than he deserved, service here is great and will definitely be back :)
