I am not usually a one to write reviews but I have been to shiraz three times now and felt I needed to let people know off this beautiful Indian restaurant. Out off the three times that I have been, never once have I been disappointed. The food is absolutely amazing! by far the best Indian restaurant I have been to. To start with you get complimentary poppadoms and dips which always go down a treat, with my friends and work colleagues. From the food to the customer service, always excellent!! a definite must try if you haven't already! cant wait for my fourth visit, all ready and booked for next week, cant wait!

What a find! I thought I knew what good curry tasted like until I visited Shiraz on a recent trip to Newcastle with my Wife. The food was in a completely different league to anything I have had in the past and quite frankly I am not sure I can eat Indian food again without comparing it. Great food, great service, great value... I just wish I lived nearer so I could eat your food more often... (or maybe send via the post!) I would wholeheartedly recommend. Hope to visit you again when I am next in Newcastle.

Might not be the most trendy of restaurants in Newcastle but if you want a tasty authetic curry and something other places don't do this is the place. I would highly recommend the south Indian chicken curry. Lovely friendly owners and staff
